Eagles, Jean L. – 78, of Lower Five Islands, Cumberland County passed away
Thursday, February 5, 2004 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper
Nappan. Born in Stellarton, she was the daughter of the late James and Sadie
(MacKenzie) MacNeil. She enjoyed sewing, quilt making and, most of all, her
family. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth McLaughlin, Lower Five
Islands; sons, James (Mary Anne), Belleville, Ont.; John (Carol), Tweed,
Ont.; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three brothers, Robert,
Michael (Betty), all of New Glasgow; Donald (Leona), Toronto; several nieces
and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; three brothers.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev.
Florence Antle-Brison officiating. Burial in the Lower Five Islands Cemetery
at a later date. Memorial donations to a charity of choice.
She will be deeply missed by her family, especially her granddaughter,
Sherry.
