Tower, Carol A. – Age 68, of Five Islands passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Lauchlin W. and Muriel (Hartlen) MacDonald. She is survived by her companion of 34 years, Mike Marsden; a daughter, Amy Firminger (Paul), Wentworth; a sister, Colleen MacDonald (Mandy), Halifax; a granddaughter, Jessica; a grandson, Adam; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Beverly; brothers, Lauchlin R. Jr., Robert and Gerald. A gathering to celebrate Carol’s life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
