Michael E. Henderson

Henderson, Michael E. – Age 85, of Parrsboro passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Southampton, England, he was a son of the late Alex and Iris (Rea) Henderson. Survived by his wife, Gwen (Phinney) Henderson; daughters, Colleen Yorke (Robert), Parrsboro; Joy Henderson (Frank Allen), Parrsboro; sons, Michael (Joyce), Five Islands; Pat (Debbie), Newport News, Virginia; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; special nephew, Connor. He was predeceased by a sister, Elaine. Funeral service will be held 2 pm on Monday, October 28, 2019 at St. George’s Anglican Church, Parrsboro, Rev. Dr. Brian Spence officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall. Memorial donations may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church.
