1960 - 2019

Washington, Penny C. – Age 59, of Fox River passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of Madeline (Allen) Lake, Fox River and the late Harold Lake. She is survived by her husband, Troy; her daughter, Shayne Lake, Amherst; a sister, Evelyn Pye (Cecil); brothers, Harold, Jamie and David; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Harold; sisters, Yvonne “Bonnie” and Elizabeth in infancy. In keeping with Penny’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
