CARROLL, DAVID N. – 69, of Five Islands, Colchester County passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Truro, he was the son of the late Noyes and Albina (MacDonald) Carroll. He was a retired mechanic and lobster fisherman. He is survived by daughters, Donna Peck (Albert Pittman); Cindy (John) Worthington; a son, Bruce (Bev); a sister, Pat (Jack) Beach; a brother, Gerry (Mary); seven grandchildren, Chad, Brennan, Devin, Kyle, Rebecca, Brandyn, Mitchell; companion, Olly Richards; first wife, Verna (Alvin) Crossman. He was predeceased by a brother, James. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Robert Hussey officiating. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Palliative Care of South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro.
