Marie Agnes Dinaut
Dinaut, Marie A. – 91, of Truro, Colchester County
passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at home surrounded by her
family. Born in 1913 at North Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and
Mary (White) Gouthro. Early in her life, she was a school teacher, later
devoting herself to raising her family. Marie enjoyed baking, puzzles and
travel. She especially enjoyed visits with her children, grandchildren and great
grandchildren. She also cherished her association with Sister Anne Gillis and
her Truro church friends. She is survived by daughters, Anne Marie Fougere
(Ron), Truro; Michele Caughey (Eric), Truro; sons, Pascal (Angela), Halifax;
David (Janette), Port Greville; a sister, Irene MacKinnon, North Sydney; 12
grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her
parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David Alfred Dinaut; an infant
daughter; a great grandchild, Molly; sisters, Sister Genevieve, S.M., Sister
Carmella, S.C., Sister St. Gilbert, S.B.A., Hilda and Olive; brothers, Clifford,
Elmer, Hilton and Bernard. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2005 at Immaculate
Conception Church, Truro. In celebration of her life, a funeral mass will be
held 2 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2005 at Immaculate Conception Church, Father Salvador
Orara officiating. Burial in the Truro Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made
to St. Vincent de Paul Society. |
