Coates, Bayna Georgina – 65, of Barrie, Ont. and formerly of Diligent River, Cumberland County passed away peacefully on November 21, 2005 after a lengthy illness in The Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie. She was the beloved wife of Gordon; loving and devoted mother of Darlene Billett (Ray), Daniel Coates (Rosa), Michele Boniface, Graham Coates and Gregory Coates; dear sister of Iona Hiltz, David Hiltz, Burton Hiltz, Bruce Hiltz and Sheldon Hiltz; cherished grandmother of Dean and Danielle Coates and Haley Boniface. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Grace United Church, Port Greville, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Reception and committal to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
