WILLIAMS, Gladys E. - 85, of West Brook, Cumberland Co., passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008, in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Fraserville, she was a daughter of the late George and Annie (Pettis) Green. She is survived by daughters, Annie Pettigrew (Curtis), Jane and Judy, all of West Brook; Wendy Hannah (Fred), Southampton; sons, Malcolm (Laura), West Brook; 9 grandchildren, Mark, Charles, George, Paul, Starr and Nicole Simmonds; Annie Hannah; Christopher and Jonathan Williams; 16 great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Colton, Gabrielle, Devon, Ashley and Marissa Simmonds; Nicole, Greggory and Hayden Eisenberg; Trinity Mitchell; Mathieu and Stephanie Desjardins; Courtney and Melissa Moore; Joseph and Mathew Williams; 1 great great-grandchild, Connor Desjardins0. She was predeceased by her husband, Mark Williams in 1964; her companion, Guy Vaughan; a sister in infancy. Visitation 1-2 p.m. Friday [October 31, 2008] in Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial in Fox River Anglican Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
