GEORGE, P. Andrew – 44, of Parrsboro, Cumberland Co. passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Vernon and Gloria (Amon) George. He is survived by a sister, Wanda George (Joe MacAloney), Two Islands; brothers, Terry, Calgary, Alta.; James, Calgary, Alta.; Mark, Dartmouth; Pat (Kelly McDougall), Ottawa, Ont.; Barry, Acton, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday [September 16, 2009] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial in the St. George’s Cemetery, Parrsboro. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
