Webb, J. Edward ‘Eddy’ – Age 69, of Parrsboro passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Five Islands, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Lewis) Webb. Eddy is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth (Dowe) Webb; daughter, Amber Fisher (Mike), Halfway River; sons, Shawn (Terri Brown), Southampton; Brad (Carrie), Parrsboro; Jeremy (Ashley), Maccan; grandchildren, Dillon Fisher, Jessie-Rae, Dawson, Hayden, Keegan, Tristan, Landon, Logan, Asher, Hailey; sisters, Shirley Webb (Vince), Irene Eagles (Aubrey); brothers, Vince (Jackie), Robert (Joanne), all of Lower Five Islands; Aurele (Joy), Halifax; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Evelyne, Geneva, Pearl; brothers, Ivan and James. Public visitation will be held 6-8 pm on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro (All are welcome) - Covid-19 public health mandated guidelines will be followed (masks and social distancing). A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021, Pastor David Forbes officiating. Burial will take place in the West Brook Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
