Blaine B. Perry

Perry, Blaine B. – Age 87, of Parrsboro passed away peacefully on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Collingwood, he was a son of the late Edgar and Bertha (McCarthur) Perry. Blaine worked in the forestry business all of his life. Aside from work, he was an avid snowmobiler, loved hunting, fishing and camping. He is survived by sons, Charles (Anna), Billy (Trudi), Robert (Jill), all of Parrsboro; sister, Greta Wood (Gary), Oxford; grandchildren, April Yorke, Justin Perry (Jenn), Lee Perry (Stephanie), Angela Atkinson (Peter); 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters in law, Shirley Griffin and Bev (Perry) Noiles, both of Parrsboro; brother in law, Glendon Stevens, Collingwood. He was predeceased by his wife just 2 weeks ago, Audrey (Boutilier) Perry after 68 years of marriage; sister, Geraldine; brother, Clyde. A ‘Celebration of Life’ service will be announced for a later date when Covid restrictions allow for safer gatherings. Memorial donations may be made to the South Cumberland Community Care Centre Foundation, Parrsboro.
