Malay, Joseph F. ‘Joe’ – Age 81, of Parrsboro passed away peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born at Malay Falls, he was a son of the late Seymour and Gladys (Lowe) Malay. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Bayer) Malay; daughters, Karen Johnson (John), Musquodoboit Harbour; Joann Brown (Danny), Moncton; a son, Billy Malay, Franklin, Maine; 5 grandchildren, Chad Johnson (Lynnie); Ainsley Johnson, Erin Johnson, Kayla Brown, MacKenzie Brown; a sister, Deanie Johnson (Reg); numerous nieces and nephews; family and special friends, Sandra Hunter (Bill), Leamington; Gary Goodwin (Marlene), Parrsboro. He was predeceased by wife, Gail (Goodwin); a sister, Grace; a brother, Carson. In keeping with Joe’s wishes, a private service will be held at a later date. Burial in the Southampton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Southampton Cemetery or Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre Foundation.
