Lorette, Olive M. – Age 89, of Parrsboro passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Gables Lodge, Amherst. Born in Economy, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Alice (Linkletter) Elliott. She is survived by daughters, Diane Conrad (Robert), Rex, Georgia; Trena Atkinson (Frank), Rex, Georgia; a son, William (Angie), Stockbridge, Georgia; sisters, Audrey Fitzpatrick, Bay Roberts, Nfld; Estella Forbes, Amherst; Gloria Aitken (Robert), Burlington, Ont.; grandchildren, Kimberley Wheeler (John Wheeler pred.), Stockbridge, Georgia; Brian Vogel (Toni), Summerfield, Florida; Jason Vogel (Adam), Stockbridge, Georgia; Candice Mills (Jeff), Woodford, Virginia; Ashley Lorette, Fredericksburg, Virginia; 2 great-grandchildren, Lauren Himes (Cameron), Virginia Beach, Virginia; Kylie Vogel, Fort Lee, Virginia; 2 great-great grandchildren, Elijah and Graysyn; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William Lorette in 2008; sisters, Irene Webb, Doris Chisholm; brothers, Merile, Percy, Gerald, Carl. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 at 2pm in Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Gary Elliott officiating. Burial to follow in the Economy Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
