Deborah Jean Beal
1953 - 2023

Beal, Deborah Jean - Age 70, of Parrsboro passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born on June 15, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Dean and Jean (Taylor) Spencer. Debbie was a member of the Parrsboro Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and a choir member. Known for her hooked rugs and her volunteering, she was the recipient of the Provincial Volunteer Award in 2014. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 47 years, Herbert Beal; her son, David; her stepchildren, Gayle Beale and Alan (Joanne) Beale; as well as her grandchildren, Kohan, Keegan, Alex, Kristine, Emily, Stefanie and Meaghan. Also, surviving are her brothers, David and Gerald. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Jay. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. A graveside committal service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 2pm at the Parrsboro Baptist Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
