Field, Barbara A. - Age 70, of Advocate Harbour, formerly of Great Village, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Bayview Memorial Health Centre, Advocate Harbour. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Muriel (Allen) Canning, of Fox River. She is survived by her children, Cory (Kirsty), Alberta; Krista (John), Advocate Harbour; a grandson, Michael, Advocate Harbour. She was predeceased by her husband, James in 2019. In keeping with Barbara's wishes, no funeral service will be held. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the MS Society or the Nova Scotia Lung Association (Pulmonary Fibrosis).
