Lynn Patrick Corcoran

Corcoran, Lynn Patrick - of Halifax, and formerly of Parrsboro. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lynn Patrick Corcoran on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 at his home in Halifax. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Alexander P. and Jane (Phinney) Corcoran. He was a simple man, who lived a simple life needing very little to make him happy. He was a unique man - loved music, his flea market finds and his record collection. He was strong-willed and marched to the beat of his own drum; but had a big heart for his family and friends. You would often find him fishing, riding his bike throughout the city, or making his homemade bread. He is survived by his daughters, Krista Corcoran (Jason MacVane) and Alyson Corcoran; his siblings, Patricia Corcoran, Alexis Corcoran (Paul Matthews), Shannon Oulton, Wendy Blenkhorn (Stanford), Randy Corcoran, Jocelyn Corcoran, Patrick Corcoran; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside committal service will be held at 11:30am on Monday, June 26, 2023 at St George's Anglican Cemetery, Parrsboro followed by a reception at the church hall. Rev. Dr. Brian Spence officiating. Memorials donations may be made to a charity of choice.
