Merriam, Amy Ethel – 74, of Port Greville, Cumberland
County died Thursday, November 13, 1997 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital,
Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born in New Denmark, New Brunswick, she was the
daughter of the former Ethel (Bessie) Carlson and the late Soren Hansen. She is
survived by two sons, William, Amherst; Lloyd, Prediction; three sisters,
Bernice (Mrs. Simon Brinkman); Yetta (Mrs. Gordon Christensen), both of New
Denmark; Betty (Mrs. Arthur Ketch), Woodstock; two brothers, Harmon; Gordon;
both of New Denmark; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Memorial service will
be held 1 pm Tuesday, November 18, 1997 at the York Funeral Home, Fredericton. A
graveside committal service will be held 1 pm Saturday, November 22, 1997 in the
Port Greville United Cemetery, Rev. Peter Smith officiating. Memorial donations
may be made to a charity of choice.
