Morris, Dorothy A. - 75, of Jenks Avenue, Parrsboro died Friday, March 20, 1998 at home. Born in East Brookville, Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Hilda (Milberry) Hatfield. She was a member of St. Brigid's Catholic Women's League, Parrsboro. She is survived by daughters, Mary (Mrs. David Walker), Halifax; Anne (Mrs. Dean Thompson), Breadalbane, P.E.I.; Rozelle, Parrsboro; Maureen (Mrs. Jeff Penny), Amherst; sons, Mark, St. Albert, Alberta; Steve, Parrsboro; Rod, Lakelands; Greg, St. Albert, Alberta; Carl, Windsor, Ont.; Doug, Parrsboro; Dave, Stephenville, Newfoundland; two sisters, Edith (Mrs. George Henn), Vernon, B.C.; Gwen Embree, Amherst; one foster service, Marion (Mrs. Stewart Moir), Winnipeg; 21 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Hamilton; one son, Paul; one sister, Hazel; one brother, Walter. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Monday at her home on Jenks Avenue, Parrsboro where parish prayers were held 7:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Brigid's Catholic Church, Parrsboro, the Rev. J.B. Christensen officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
